About the Artist
Apprenticed under renowned German glass artisan, Paul von Domarus, Stephen Schlanser brings a fresh new look to glass sculpture. A multitalented person, Schlanser’s occupations have included racing motorcycles, modeling, and producing both stained glass and kiln-fired slumped glass. He currently owns a glass studio in California.
About the Art
In this series, Stephan Schlanser used his finely-tuned abilities to individually craft these unique glass cases. Each case was hand-drawn, etched, sandblasted, and then assembled using ultraviolet activated bonding techniques. Every piece was signed and dated by the artist.
