Topper Fine Jewelers to Donate to San Francisco Food Bank with the Sale of Each Ernst Benz Mario Batali Limited Edition Timepiece
Burlingame, CA (December 2007) - As many watch collectors know, Ernst Benz announced that a portion of the Ernst Benz Mario Batali Limited Edition series will benefit the Food Bank For New York City. In the spirit of the holiday season, Topper Fine Jewelers has announced that they would like to make a difference locally by making a sizable donation of their own to the San Francisco Food Bank based on each Ernst Benz Mario Batali watch sold at their store.
Topper Fine Jewelers will be donating $1,100 for each 47mm chronograph, $1,000 for each 40mm chronograph, and $600 for each 36mm day-date watch sold.
"The purchase of one of these watches will have a real impact on the San Francisco Community," says Catherine Homsey, Manager of Corporate Partnerships of the San Francisco Food Bank. "Every dollar donated to the San Francisco Food Bank provides four meals. We can stretch donations this far because most of our food is donated and much of the work is done by volunteers. If someone purchases the 47mm Chronograph, they will be providing 4,200 meals to low-income San Franciscans."
Leonid Khankin, Designer and Managing Director of Ernst Benz, says, “I am thrilled that the Caplan Family of Topper Fine Jewelers has been inspired by our collaboration with Chef Mario Batali. Their generosity and commitment to their community is admirable and we are proud to be a part of it.”
The Ernst Benz Mario Batali Limited Edition series will be available for sale in December of 2007. The series can be pre-ordered through Topper Fine Jewelers, please call our toll free at 1-888-730-2221 or local numbers at 650-347-2221 or 348-3353.
About the Watch
