About the Classical Dragon & Phoenix
Corum's newest Limited Edition Classical Jump Hour celebrates the Dragon & Phoenix, auspicious ancient Chinese symbols epitomizing the yin and yang. They are the ultimate opposites who wholly complete each other and emerge as a strong union. As the subject of Corum's 2006 Artisan watch introductions, these legendary mythical animals perfectly personify the balance of nature via the combination of delicately engraved mother-of-pearl and intricate hand painting . This engraving process, to a depth of seven layers, was developed and patented by Corum. The Classical Dragon & Phoenix is encased in 18kt gold. The jump hour movement, with the hour appearing through an aperture at the top of the dial, adds to the precision and beauty of this elegant timepiece. True to its legacy, the Classical Dragon & Phoenix exquisitely embodies the art of time.
