Ball Trainmaster Power Reserve

Our favorites don't have to come out in 2011, and this watch is a perfect piece to lead off the section with. Though it has been out for a couple of years, the Trainmaster Power Reserve might have the most attractive dial of all the Ball watches. The watch features a clean white enamel dial with a subtle power reserve meter at the 7 o'clock subdial. Though the watch is dressy in nature, like all other Ball watches, it still features the tritium gas tubes. This watch is available with either a stainless steel bracelet or an alligator strap and deployment buckle. Click here for more details. In our opinion, this is the most beautiful dial Ball has put into a watch in the modern era.

Ball enthusiasts have been excited for months about the planned October release of the Magnate Chronograph, Peak 15 & the Deequest. In these three watches, Ball enthusiasts will find, a 40mm dress chronograph that still has the look and feel of a shock resistant tool watch (Magnate Chronograph), a ceramic and thinner alternative to the popular Spacemasters (Peak 15), and a titanium monocoque dive watch that is water resistant to 3000m and, while featuring blazing tritium, will give other Swiss watch company's most water resistant pieces a run for their money.

Bremont MBII

Bremont Watches arrived at Topper in August 2011, and have been a huge hit. While Bremont features an impressive dive watch called the Supermarine, every other piece in their line is aviation inspired. Our favorite Bremont watch is the MBII, which is co-designed with the aircraft ejection seat maker, Martin Baker. There is a lot to love about these pieces, but some of the quick highlights include, a C.O.S.C. movement housed in a anti-magnetic Faraday cage to protect movement., a Trip-Tick of scratch resistant hardened steel, and incredibly simple anti-reflective dials with leather & NATO Nylon straps.
