Dial with applied hour-markers; name MONACO in white varnish.Polished, nickel-plated hour and minute hands.Square steel case with alternate fine-brushed and polished steel finishes. Perspex crystal. Fluted crown for easy winding.Water-resistant to 30 meters (100ft). Strap of black or brown calfskin. Also available in black, brown or blue (Steve McQueen's MONACO) genuine crocodile. Folding buckle in polished steel with push-buttons.Elapsed and total time chronograph functions, 12-hour, 30-minute and 60-second register. TAG Heuer Calibre 17 automatic movement.

About the MONACO

MONACO. A prestigious circuit whose original track is a very special experience for drivers. In 1969, in honor of this unique Grand Prix, TAG Heuer launched a chronograph with a new design. Its water-resistant square case - the first in watchmaking history - houses the Chronomatic, the world's first automatic chronograph movement with a microrotor. Steve McQueen had an empathy for this audacious, rebellious watch and in 1970 chose to wear it in the film "Le Mans", dedicated to motor racing. The MONACO has lost none of its originality and still embodies the avant-garde spirit that inspires TAG Heuer.
