The 2013 HydroConquest Automatic: Blue, Black & White dial models
There are 11 new three-hand models of the Hydroconquest automatic this year; four new 39mm, and seven new 41mm models. Below are photos of three variations of the 41mm Hydroconquest: blue, black, and white with black bezel. Not shown are a black dial with a red bezel, a white dial with a red bezel, or the rubber strap models. Each of the new versions features the higher grade 2 892-A2 based L619 calibre instead of the 2824-2 based L633 Calibre. Like the older version, the watch is around 11mm thick with a lug width of 21mm. The price difference between the old and the new is minor, with the new models costings $50 more at $1,275 per model. The new version of the watch features eleven Arabic numbers while the older model features only three.

The older model shown below in 39mm leans more towards navy while the newer version is a royal blue. Also visible is the new model’s slightly larger crown and crown guards.

The new white dial has a cream colored tint.
Like the older model, each of the Arabic numbers are luminous. The effect is much more impressive on the new dial where all eleven numbers (all except the three which is reserved for the date wheel) and the hands glow green.
The case back is almost identical to the previous model of the HydroConquest. The clasp is also unchanged featuring the same three micro-adjustments, diver’s extension, and safety clasp.
