Questions & Answers regarding the Newly Announced Divers Sixty-Five Topper Edition

The Divers Sixty-Five Topper Edition on steel bracelet.

Saturday on aBlogtoWatch we announced the Oris Divers Sixty-Five Topper Edition. To our delight, the announcement generated a lot of excitement among our customers and fans of the Oris brand. Since then we have received a number of inquiries about the watch and, most common, how to go about securing one. Below are some answers to questions we received today. Thank you all for your interest in the watch!

What will the caseback look like?

We are still waiting on a formal rendering to share. It will be available sometime after Baselworld, but we are happy to describe it here. The Topper Edition will feature the existing steel case back design of the Oris Divers Sixty-Five 40.5mm. Along the outer edge, and in similar font to the other caseback writing, will be the text "Topper Edition ###/100".

Will the watches be individually numbered?

Yes, each piece will have a unique number from "1" to "100".

Can I pick my own number within the limited edition range of 1 to 100?

Yes. While we cannot guarantee the availability of any specific number, you can give us your first, second, and third choice and we will try our best to secure a meaningful number for you. If those numbers are not available, we will propose the closest available numbers until we find the best number for you.

When will the watch be available for delivery?

We expect the watch to be available in the late summer to early fall.

Are you using a version of the 733 calibre with the date wheel covered by the dial, or has the date wheel been removed?

Oris indicated the date wheel will be removed so that there is no "phantom" position in the movement.

Will all 100 watches ship to Topper at the same time?

While we expect them to all ship in the same period (late summer to early fall), we expect #1 through #50 to ship approximately one month before #51 through #100.

When can I see a prototype at the Topper store?

There will not be a prototype of the piece. As always, you are invited to visit Topper to see the existing Divers Sixty-Five which shares many attributes with the Topper Edition.

How do I preorder the watch?

To pre-order, please call the store during our business hours, 10:00-5:30 PST. You can reserve the watch with a $500 deposit which is payable by PayPal or by credit card (phone payment). Once we confirm the availability and agree on watch number, we can send you a PayPal invoice. You can also email andrea@topperjewelers.com with a specific number request and she will confirm availability by email and send you a PayPal invoice. If you are not interested in picking a specific number and just want to secure one as soon as possible, please send a $500 PayPal payment to info@topperjewelers.com. In the subject line or body, please write "Oris 65 Topper Edition deposit". You will receive a receipt by email which will also include your remaining balance.

If you want to prepay in full for the watch (this will not affect availability versus deposit only), the total purchase price is $2,199. Delivery in the United States is complimentary, international delivery via FedEx is around $100. Sales tax is applicable in California.

Does the watch come with both the steel bracelet and the rubber strap?

Yes, they are both included at the $2,199 price.

What if I want to add the tan or black Oris fabric straps?

Either strap can be added for an extra $100 each.
